Project Overview
Working in the constrained site which was formerly garages, the client created a reinforced concrete basement, housing bedrooms and ‘underground gardens’. Above ground a Kinsgpan TEK SIP structure provided the perfect solution, being lightweight and swift to erect, despite the irregular angles of the building to fit the site. A combination of steel and glulam beams created architectural features as well as the structure for generous open-plan living spaces, whilst the SIP walls and roof ensured a well-insulated and airtight modern home.
