Project Overview

Situated within the grounds of the existing listed care home building, this new wing offers ten bedrooms and communal areas to provide an exemplar dementia care building.

It is constructed to the highest standards of robustness and energy efficiency, using Kingspan TEK SIPS panels, aluminium windows, air source heat pumps and a zinc roof.

The structure, provided by Bentley SIPS, is a combination of SIPS with glulam and steel beams, providing high vaulted ceilings in communal areas and large expanses of glass creating a light and airy feel.

The palette of external finishes, including flintwork, handmade bricks and standing seam roofing/cladding, compliments the listed site.

It was a pleasure to work with King and Drury on this project and the team are looking forward to the next amazing build.
